About the event
TCC CAPS Fellows (College Attainment for Parent Success). This event kicks off their new grant funded pilot program of student support services for single parent students. The first cohort of 20 single parents that covers all 4 local campuses (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth) provided a new laptop to help them complete their studies. This program provides support services on campus in partnership with local organizations to aid in the student success amongst their new CAPS Fellows.
